Wee-cycle Mart Announces the Launch of the Painless Fundraiser Program

Baltimore, MD – January 24, 2016 – Wee-cycle Mart Kids Consignment Sales of Maryland is excited to announce the launch of their new Painless Fundraiser Program for non-profit organizations and schools.

Wee-cycle Mart believes this new fundraiser program will be an easy way for organizations such as child cares centers, schools, churches, scouts, recreation centers, sports organizations and other non-profits to generate extra money – without a lot of work!

Wee-cycle Mart has structured the program on a flyer distribution system. This is where anyone in the organization can hand out flyers to promote the sale. In return, the organization will receive 5% off the total sales that was driven to the event as a result of their efforts.

Just like other restaurant fundraisers, a custom flyer with the organization’s information will be designed in order for it to be handed out in advance of the sale or emailed to the organization’s email list. There is no limit to the number of flyers that can be handed out.

In addition, for each new consignor that participates in the sale and consigns at least 100 items, a $10 donation will be made to the organization.

Blaney Teal, organizer of Wee-cycle Mart says, “Keeping down the cost of growing up is our goal and we love giving back to the communities where we host our events! My dad was the co-founder of Harvest for the Hungry Campaign. I want to follow in his footsteps and make a difference!”

All organizations must register in advance of an event. To register or for more information on the Painless Fundraiser, go to www.wee-cyclemart.com/fundraisers.html

About
Wee-cycle Mart was started in 2007 by Mompreneur and lifelong Maryland resident, Blaney Teal. At that time, Ms. Teal, who was expecting her second child, had been laid off from her corporate job. Wee-cycle Mart supports local families by providing an outlet for moms and dads to sell their no longer needed items. This saves families money when shopping for their children’s clothing, toys, etc.

Wee-cycle Mart also gives back to the local food banks at each sale by collecting food at the door, then donating it to the food banks. Wee-cycle Mart events are held semi-annually in 4 counties which include: Harford/Cecil, Baltimore, Carroll, & Anne Arundel Counties.
